A checkup may lead to a cleaning, treatment for a cavity, or a conversation about alignment. We explain what we find and discuss the next step with you before treatment begins.

If your child has a cavity, we examine the tooth and explain whether a filling is appropriate. We answer your questions before you decide how to proceed.
As your child grows, you may have questions about crowded teeth or how their bite fits together. Dr. Sara Zadmehr, our orthodontist, can evaluate whether treatment is appropriate and when to consider it.
If your child has a painful, broken, or knocked tooth, call us. Emergency patients can typically be seen the same day.
You do not need to know what treatment your child needs before you call. Tell us what you have noticed, and we will help you arrange an evaluation.
If your child says a tooth hurts, especially when eating, an examination can help us find the cause. Let us know when the pain began and whether it comes and goes.
A dark spot, chipped tooth, or sharp edge is worth asking about. We examine the area and explain what care, if any, is recommended.
You may notice teeth coming in unevenly or a bite that looks different as your child grows. Tell us what you see so we can discuss whether an orthodontic evaluation would help.
We appreciate the patients who take time to share how they felt about their care.
