Pediatric Dentist
Checkups, cleanings and fillings for children, in the same office where their parents are seen. If your question is about crowding or a bite, our orthodontist looks at that instead.
Families looking for a dentist near Hacienda Heights, CA, come to our Whittier office, about 4 miles away. Kids, parents and grandparents can all be cared for by one team.

Our team includes general dentists, implant and surgical dentists, a board-certified orthodontist and a Spanish-speaking hygienist, all working from one office. A child’s cleaning, a teen’s braces check and a grandparent’s crown can be handled by people who share the same records.
Every plan is built around the person in the chair, whether that’s an eight-year-old or an eighty-year-old, and our doctors explain each option in plain terms before treatment.

Patients come from Hacienda Heights to our Whittier office on Greenleaf Avenue, about 4 miles away. As a dental office near Hacienda Heights, we often see three generations of one family in the same month.
That means planning a teen’s orthodontic care and a grandparent’s crown at the same time. Keeping both in one practice means one team that knows the whole family.
When a family member is more comfortable in Spanish, our team can go over the plan in Spanish too. Many households make us their dentist in Whittier for every generation, from a child’s first checkup to a grandparent’s implant follow-up.
Families from Hacienda Heights usually come in for more than one person. These services most often fill out a household’s plan.

Clear trays that come out for meals and brushing. With a teen, the real question is whether the trays will get worn, so we talk it through with both of you.
When an old filling cracks or a tooth wears down, a crown protects what’s left. When most of the tooth is sound, a smaller repair will do.
For a parent or grandparent missing one tooth or several, planning starts with a free implant consultation, then an exam, X-rays and scans.
What brings someone in tends to change with age. An exam and X-rays tell us what each person actually needs.
Baby teeth hold space for the adult teeth coming in behind them, so decay in them still matters. Regular checkups help us find it while the repair is small.
As the adult teeth finish coming in, crowding and bite problems are easier to spot. Our orthodontist checks tooth and jaw alignment and explains whether braces or aligners fit.
Teeth that have carried large fillings for decades can crack or break. A crown can protect the tooth when another filling can’t hold.
A gap makes chewing harder and can let the teeth beside it drift. Implants, bridges and full-arch options are all planned and placed at our office.
A problem is easier to understand when you can look at it. Our intraoral cameras show the inside of your mouth on a screen beside the chair, so a parent can see the cavity in a child’s molar, or a grandparent can see the crack in an old filling, before deciding on treatment.
Digital scanners record teeth and bite for planning, and cone-beam CT, or CBCT, shows the jawbone in 3D when a closer look is needed.

We accept all PPO dental plans, including Delta Dental, MetLife, Cigna, Anthem Blue Cross and UnitedHealthcare. If family members carry different plans, our benefits coordinator verifies each one before the visit, tells you upfront what it will pay and submits the claims after treatment.
For larger treatment like implants or orthodontics, low initial payments, monthly payment plans, CareCredit and Cherry can spread out what insurance doesn’t cover.
