Full-Arch Experience Behind Every Fixed Denture

Our practice has completed hundreds of full-arch cases, including All-on-4 and All-on-6 treatments, and has placed more than 15,000 dental implants since opening in Whittier in 2003. Same-day fixed dentures and full-arch rehabilitation are a focus of our implant surgery.

Our lead implant surgeon is a Fellow of the International College of Oral Implantology and teaches hands-on implant courses to other dentists. Every case is planned with guided, CT-driven treatment, then placed and finished in this one office.

Fixed vs. Removable Dentures

A removable denture rests on your gums and is held by suction or adhesive. A fixed denture is a full arch of teeth attached to implants in your jawbone. You brush and clean it in your mouth instead of taking it out.

  • Stays in at night: nothing to soak or store.
  • No adhesive: the implants hold it in place.
  • Firmer bite: chewing pressure goes into the implants, not your gums.
  • Only your dentist removes it: usually just for professional cleanings and checkups.

How a Fixed Denture Fits Into Implant Treatment

A fixed denture is the finished set of teeth. These are the implant treatments it sits on.

Dental Implants

Every fixed denture sits on dental implants, so the implant plan comes first. If you are only missing a few teeth, single or multiple implants with crowns may suit you better than a full arch, and we will tell you which one fits after your scan.

All-on-4 Dental Implants

All-on-4 is the most common way to hold a fixed denture: four implants support one full row of teeth. When your bone calls for more support, we plan the arch on six implants instead.

When a Fixed Denture May Be the Right Choice

Your exam and scan decide whether you are a candidate. These are the situations that most often bring patients in.

A Removable Denture That Moves

Your denture lifts when you bite, rubs sore spots on your gums or needs adhesive every morning. A fixed denture is attached to implants, so it does not rest on your gums.

Most Teeth in One Arch Are Failing

When several teeth in the same row are loose, cracked or decayed, replacing the whole arch with a fixed denture can take fewer visits than repairing each tooth.

Missing Teeth Across One or Both Arches

If you have already lost most of your teeth on top, bottom or both, a fixed denture can replace each full arch with teeth that stay in.

Made and Fitted in Our Office

A CBCT scan shows your jaw in 3D, so we see how much bone is available before we plan where each implant goes. Digital scanners record your bite and the shape of your gums.

Your fixed denture is then made through our in-house implant fabrication. We shape and shade the teeth so they look natural with your face, and we check how they bite as closely as how they look. Sedation options are available on the day your implants are placed.

Fixed Denture Questions From Whittier Patients

Do You Offer Same-Day Fixed Dentures in Whittier?

Yes, for qualifying patients. A fixed set of teeth is attached to your implants on the day they are placed. Your exam and CBCT scan show whether you qualify, and we confirm it before your surgery date is set.

Can My Daughter or Son Come With Me to the Consultation?

Of course. Many patients bring a family member to help them decide. Our team speaks English and Spanish, so everyone in the room can follow the plan and ask questions.

How Many Visits Will a Fixed Denture Take at Your Whittier Office?

Plan on a consultation and scan, the day your implants are placed, and follow-up visits while you heal. We map out each visit for you at your free consultation, so you know what to expect before you start.

Is a Fixed Denture the Same as a Snap-In Denture?

No. A snap-in denture clips onto implants but still comes out. A fixed denture is attached to the implants, so it stays in, and only your dentist removes it.

How Much Do Fixed Dentures Cost?

Your cost depends on how many implants each arch needs, whether we are treating one arch or both, and whether any teeth need to come out first. You get a clear number after your free implant consultation, and we check your PPO benefits and offer low monthly payments for the rest.
