Dental Implants
How we replace one tooth, several teeth or a whole arch. Start here if you’re still weighing an implant against other options.
If you’re looking for dental implants near La Mirada, CA, our Whittier office is about 5.5 miles away, and we plan, place and make your implant teeth in one practice. The first step is a free implant consultation.

Implants are a daily part of our work, not an occasional referral. Our practice has placed more than 15,000 dental implants, from single teeth to hundreds of full-arch cases.
The doctors who place your implants also plan the teeth that attach to them, and we manage every step from your first consultation through final placement. Our implant team includes a Fellow of the International College of Oral Implantology who runs hands-on seminars that have trained other dentists in implant placement since 2006.

Meet Our Dentists
Implant care brings patients back to us several times, and they often remember how our front desk and doctors made each of those visits feel.
“Best place for implants & dental works. I have tried several implants places before but this was the final place for my last 6 implants, crowns fit perfectly also.”
Had a great dental appointment at Atlantic Dental in Whittier, no pain & always making you comfortable.
Atlantic Dental is great! Staff is friendly, the treatment was painless, I highly recommend this dental office.
Always a pleasure to come see Dr. Tamir and Dr. Paz. I have been a patient for over 20 years.
Patients from La Mirada come to our Whittier office, about 5.5 miles away. Every part of your implant care happens in that one building: the consultation and scans, placement day, follow-up visits and the final teeth, which we fabricate in-house.
About one in five La Mirada residents is 65 or older, and many of the patients we see from there are living with bridges or partials made decades ago. When one loosens or stops fitting, a consultation is a good time to look at the whole mouth, not just one tooth.
Our English- and Spanish-speaking team can walk you through each stage. We also handle checkups and cleanings as a dentist close to La Mirada, and families have trusted us as their Whittier dentist since 2003.
These are the treatments most closely tied to an implant consultation, and how each one fits.
How we replace one tooth, several teeth or a whole arch. Start here if you’re still weighing an implant against other options.
When most teeth in one arch are missing or failing, a fixed arch on four implants may replace them together. Not the path if only one or two teeth need help.
For denture wearers who want teeth that stay in. Your new arch is fixed to implants, and qualifying patients can leave with same-day fixed dentures.
What goes into the price of an implant, from the post and crown to imaging and extractions.
If a tooth can’t be saved, our own doctors remove it before the implant is planned. We check whether it can be restored first.
We recommend implants only after an exam, X-rays and scans, and we talk through suitability and risks with you first.
Bridges done years ago can loosen or decay underneath. When the teeth holding one are no longer sound, implants may fill the gap without them.
A partial that clicks or moves when you chew makes meals a chore. Implants may hold replacement teeth in place.
A missing molar is easy to ignore until chewing on that side gets harder. After an exam and scans, we can tell you whether there is enough bone to place an implant there.
Some teeth have been filled and crowned so many times that little is left to repair. Then we explain how an implant would replace it.
Your first implant visit is free. Bring your questions, your old X-rays if you have them and a list of what bothers you when you eat. A full evaluation adds an exam, X-rays and scans before we recommend a plan.

A CBCT scan shows your jawbone in three dimensions, so we know how much bone is there before we choose where an implant goes. For full-arch cases, guided, CT-driven planning maps each implant position ahead of surgery.
Digital scanners record your teeth and bite. Your titanium implant is topped with a custom ceramic crown made through our in-house fabrication, shaded to match your own teeth.

Implant coverage differs from plan to plan, so our benefits coordinator checks your PPO coverage before your visit and tells you upfront what your plan is expected to pay. We file the claims for you after treatment.
For the rest, low initial payments, monthly payment plans, CareCredit and Cherry can spread the cost over time.

Yes. Our team speaks English and Spanish, and we’re happy to go over your plan, your scans and your payment options in either language.
Your total is set by the number of teeth being replaced, the type of restoration, and what your exam and CBCT scan find. After your free consultation, we give you a personalized plan, check your PPO benefits and go over CareCredit, Cherry and monthly payment options.
